Dale Carlson will be named the new head coach of the Valparaiso football program this afternoon.

Come on now.... You probably would have said the same thing about the 2009 PFL coach of the year.... This is a good hire for Valpo. I look for significant improvement in the program. It is also obvious that they are no longer against playing traditional FCS teams. It is a good sign for the PFL that even the bottom teams are working to improve. The PFL is getting to be an extremely competitive conference.
