T-Birds VS Wildcats 2010

Post by Wildcat Ryan »

Will T-Bird and Wildcat fans get that rivalry game that they both want renewed to happen?

Well on the schedules section of this fan forum, Weber's schedule says (and it is in an orange area that means confirmed) that on October 9th the Weber State Wildcats will travel to Cedar City to take on thier instate rival the Thunderbirds.

BUT

On Southern Utah's Schedule, it says on October 9th that SUU will be at North Dakota???

Anybody got any news about this?

If it happens, Weber's schedule this coming season will be very un-friendly

Sept 4th- @ Boston College
Sept 11th- Northern Colorado
Sept 18th- @ Sacramento State
BYE
Oct 2nd- Eastern Washington
Oct 9th- @ Southern Utah
Oct 16th- @ Idaho State
Oct 23rd- Portland State
Oct 30th- Montana
Nov 6th- @ Montana State
Nov 13th- @ Northern Arizona
Nov 20th- @ Texas Tech

Hopefully one of the BCS teams will drop Weber and Weber can pick up a FCS Home game against UC Davis or North Dakota State

For 2011, it looks like we've got UC Davis at home instead of SUU on the road.

Im pretty sure that our website is wrong as it usually is and its updates to say the least is horrible. And man just when i thought we were getting the rivalry revamped it looks like you guys are pulling a Montana and refusing to come play in Cedar City! :thumb:

I've heard multiple rumors that another home-home will be played between TXST and SUU. Have you heard anything like this on your end?

Not to sure as i havent been able to find anything about our 2010 schedule other then that we will open the season at Wyoming and play @ Eastern Washington later in the year. My guess is probably as it seems at least our schools have a nice little rivalry going on as i believe we have played each other for the past 4 years. so i think we will play again. Im going to guess that our schedule will have along with Wyoming, Eastern Washington and Texas State, some other Big Sky team/ Teams (NAU, Montana State) and probably one D2 school (Adams State, Dixie State, Fort Lewis) and i think we get San Diego at home this year.
