For the uneducated, Meyer threw for 10,261 yards and 84 touchdowns with only 17 interceptions in 42 games with Eastern, winning two Big Sky Conference offensive player of the year awards and the Walter Payton Award.
The Spokane Shock have won two national championships in the 4 years they've been in existence, with former EWU WR Raul Vijil a part of the team for all four of those years. Vijil has already re-signed with the Shock.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

The Shock have been Arena Football 2 over the last 4 years. AFL has been dismantled and rebuilt and the new league will be Arena Football League 1. So yes, they do play in the AFL...
