St. Francis names Villarrial new coach

The Red Flash pick Chris Villarrial as new coach. He played at D-II Indiana University of Pennsylvania, then eleven years in the NFL as an offensive linemen with the Bears and Bills.

Good pick for them. A guy with some local ties. He's got an uphill battle thats for sure.

I don't think anyone really knows. Most guesses are probably in the low twenties.

Absolutely fantastic hire for SFUP. This is great news for SFUP and the NEC. Mark my words today, Chris will turn SFUP into a winner. He is local and wants to stay in the Ebensburg, PA area so also look for prolonged success at SFUP. I am thrilled to see SFUP make such a good hire. Chris is not only a great football player and coach, he is a great person. Hopefully, the SFUP / Dayton series can become a reality going forward as well. SFUP was not competitive with the Flyers the last two times we played, but with Chris at the helm, this would be a great and competitive series.
