Next EWU QB/Payton Candidate?
EWU's outgoing stud and Payton Watch List QB Matt Nichols (Cottonwood, CA) and the Payton winner he replaced QB Erik Meyer (La Mirada, CA) have both come out of California. Right now freshman Jeff Minnerly (Spokane, WA) is the current 2nd string QB, but I noticed this guy on the roster who is using his redshirt this year and will be eligible to play in 2010.
