Sure NAU had talent before but they never performed up to their potential. Stop blaming the Fuc&in Coach man. And by the way where wer you before the season started?

Hey dipshit. you obviously havent been watching nau football as long as i have. what im trying to say here is this shouldnt be enough to get him off the hook. has he figured it out? seems like it but its too soon to know for sure. im sure you all were calling for his job the last couple of seasons. but then he wins seven games and we are just gonna forget those awful seasons of the past? im not taking anything away from what he has done this season, its great and i hope it continues but ultimately the coach deserves the responsibility for those midseason collapses. what i meant by this post is to wait and see how this plays out. people are asking for us to vote him coach of the year? come on now lets not crown him yet. go jacks

i dont think its outrageous for me to be pessimistic about this guy. we have had quality teams in the past that should have finished way better than they did. we havent proven ANYTHING yet. go jacks we will really see what we are made of in these next three games

you must be a walk-on, or maybe a family member of a player? not me. im an objective fan with no personal ties. all i care about is my university that i have TREMENDOUS pride in, and that it is represented the way it should be on the football field.

so to get back to my original purpose of making this thread. my heart is telling me 10-1, but my mind is saying 9-2. i dont think we lose both home games, but both of those teams are no joke. go jacks beat isu

It is interesting to see more NAU posters here - welcome all!

Just some background - I started at NAU in 1983, so have seen many years of bad football, some decent ball under Axman, and the inconsistancy that has marked the Souers era.

I have called for his removal in the past - NAU has had to much talent, and has too fertile of a recruiting area to NOT dominate the Big Sky year after year. Souers' teams have rarely played to the level of talent.

I am hopeful that the wins over UNLV and Montana have meant that the Jacks have turned the corner. But they still need a good run in the playoffs.
Souers has earned another year, but the leash needs to be short.

And BTW - one of my fraternity brothers (and a very good friend) has a son on this team, so I have personal connections to the team as well.
