If UC Davis upset Boise, would it be bigger than App-Mich?

UM was a #5 team (for what it's worth) at the time vs Big Ten. The ASU win trumps this one hands down.

You are selling your team short and falling into the trap that Michigan was overrated. Michigan wasn't that much better than you guys, if they were even better than you at all.

As I said before, the ASU win was the greatest FCS over FBS win ever, but I don't think it was as big an upset as many others give credit for.

Agree....the talent difference wan't that great except at certain positions....what made it great was it occured in Ann Arbor at the home of the all-time winningest program steeped in history...comparable to VMI defeating Kentucky at Kentucky in basketball....it's as much the setting & history as it was actual talent gap that made the win's so great....also, it was opening college football weekend over Labor Day...EVERYBODY was watching a college football game that day and getting updates on the game...

And the funny thing about the ASU/UM game, it seems that now the ESPN guys don't seem as shocked when an FCS team comes across the ticker as the winner....
