Monster force? No. Really good team with great players at QB, RB, WR, and LB? Yes. These two shouldn't have been paired up in the first round. Either could win a couple of games given better matchups. I think both would be in the quarters if they had South Dakota's draw.
Nice win for Weber.
Different year, same song. Every MVFC team that makes the playoffs is a legit title contender, until one of them loses or barely squeaks by Nichols State. Then it's "well, they weren't THAT good".
If you're looking for a MVFC homer it isn't me.
I openly campaigned to have USD left out.
I have said that WIU isn't as good as their record since I saw them in the UNIDome. A piss poor UNI team handed them that game.
YSU did what YSU does and beat up on NEC teams in the OOC only to shit the bed in MVFC play.
ISUr is more bipolar than my sister...and that's saying something.
UNI has yet to figure out that shitting the bed in September isn't required for some reason.
Valpo: 267 yards of offense in the 1st half, 13 points; 183 yards in the 2nd half, 10 points
Savannah State: 199 yards of offense in the 1st half, 55 yards in the 2nd half
Eastern: skip
PSU: skip
ISU: 21 points 1st half, 10 points 2nd half
UND: 246 of 283 total yards gained AFTER scrubs were put in and we were up 34-3
WSU: 34 points 1st half, 7 points 2nd half
NAU: 206 yards first half, 111 yards 2nd half
UNC: complete domination after UNC’s 1st drive
MSU: 21 points 1st half, 10 points 2nd half, 250 yards 1st half, 170 in 2nd
And now it’s all a moot point. Why in the FUCK did I just do that research????
I'm glad it was you and not me.
The "doesn't make halftime adjustments" criticism is always a generic substitute for "I don't like him, but I'm not sure why." I mean, people criticized Gregorak for that even though his problem was exactly the opposite (good adjustments, lousy gameplans).
I was thinking of the offensive side. But I see your point.
