They didn't leave the starters in, I don't believe.
And I figured you would praise someone running it up on the Aggies.
USUALLY when a team runs up the score like that, it's because they leave the starters in, so I made the "obvious" assumption. You know what assuming does, right?
If the Kitties did that with their scrubs, then good on 'em. Shows that given what we were able to do against them, we should rough-house the Manure Pile, too.

cats2506 wrote:Nope the BSC refs are the still the worst, they made a couple of bad calls against us too. the UCD fumble that wasn't, didn't result in points, it was late in the game and that was when Ash decided to kneel it 4 straight downs on their 8 yard line, so we gave it back to UCD after running some clock off. TD may have had some impact since it was early in the game and would have tied the game at 14-14 but UCD had to settle for a FG instead, but I doubt UCD could have kept up with the second quarter scoring barrage that followed anyway.
Given the officiating I've seen in this league over the years, I'm not surprised that they were incompetent in BOTH directions. I wouldn't be surprised if orders from on high came to force one team to win, either. They're on par with Big West hoops officiating, which is ALSO among the worst ever.

We pulled our starters a couple minutes into the 4th I think, I was actually thinking it was a bit early considering how well teams have scored on us in the 4th quarter this year.
Our backups scored 14 more points. I mean it was enough time left to run your offense, and our backup QB threw a beautiful TD pass, and our 5th string RB would start for some FCS schools right now, IMO, and scored a TD. We had our backup OL in except for one position, and we are just flat out of WRs who don't already play.

Hey, we rotated in our 3rd string QB as a WR, (we were not going to throw the ball at that point but we still got him in)

Also, aren't you only allowed to travel with something like 53 players? I am pretty sure that is what the Announcers said towards the end of the game. If that is the case, they probably only go to 2nd string at some positions.
