Re: Sac State @ NAU
You are absolutely right! What a pathetic show by NAU at their Homecoming Game, no less. The administratiion at NAU needs to look very closely at the countless times the Jacks have imploded at the end of the season (is it three straight now?). It appears that Big Sky Conference teams are making adjustments to NAU and the Jacks do not. You can't tell me that Sac State (no offense) has better talent than NAU; they just took advantage of bad coaching and exploited the lack of preparation by the Jacks. Not even an injured quarterback could change the flow of the downward spiral called NAU football. The Lumberjack nation should be embarrassed after what the program has become - a second-rate organization. Coach Souers, you may be a nice man, but you are a bad coach.

Never been so embarrassed by a team
..and im a dallas cowboys fan haha. The team came out flat and looked completely uninspired considering it was a do or die game at home. I knew the game was out of reach when the coaching staff went to injured Herrick (thumb all rapped up and braced) early in an act of desperation after Stangel started the game and stunk up the place. COACH SOUERS HAS GOT TO GO!!! The program is stagnating and needs new leadership, tonight was a perfect example of that. Nothing would make me happier then to wake up in the morning to find out that Souers got his walking papers. Not because I want to see a man lose his job, but because my alma mater is committed to trying to succeed.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. - Coach Finstock

It's called the Montana effect. You guys left it ALL on the field in Wa/Griz last week....just like every other team that considers Montana their super bowl....nothing else matters after THAT game...

Sac State has better talent. And better facilities. And better coaches. And better recruiting grounds. And better looking women.BigSkyFootball wrote:You can't tell me that Sac State (no offense) has better talent than NAU;

Very uninspired play.
