Is that you Player Rep? Sounds like an accidental tooth mark in a girl's leg involving 6 people riding home in a small car. Growing up in small town MT I have been in a lot of small vehicles with 6 or sometimes more people & never have I seen a person receive an accidental tooth mark on their leg. :?

I know the UM coaches will do the right thing. But I'm thinking about my son heading off to college this fall and I'm thinking what parents wouldn't be trilled to have this guy rooming with their son.

I'm half Mexican so I know all about having a bunch of people squeeze into a small car, and I NEVER had this happen. I call BS. It sucks to see someone squander a second chance. Good luck Griz with finding a way to deal with this. :ohno:

Sounds like nothing is going to come of this. In any regard, what the hell is he doing? He should be on permanent campus/house arrest for his own sake.

If we need him on any sort of "watch" list then...gone...fuck it. I have seen something (playful) like this before but god damn man you can't be in any kind of a fucking situation like this.

At this point he should probably try and make sure that his DNA isn't even left in HIS OWN underwear let alone on someone else's skin.

Exactly, brother bear. He should have been given the memo that he shouldn't be out at 2:15am at ALL. Whether he did anything or not to the woman, this whole incident shows a serious lack of good sense on his part.

Unless he straightens out, this has all the makings of a soap opera that can bring down the season. Unfortunately, Plu comes from a program in Oregon that seems to tolerate this type of behavior, and with all the non-Montana FBS transfers he is bringing in, the team culture/chemistry is liking to change dramatically

dbackjon, what's your source for JW being out @2:15am, as i haven't been able to find a credible source. if this turns out to be true, and only if this turns out to be true, me thinks young Mr. Wilson should be introduced/volunteered for participation in charitable org activities in sufficient quantity as to guarantee a 10:00pm-11:00pm sack time. just a thought.

I recall Hammer or Remax saying that he was only out until midnight or so, the 2:15 may be when the police got involved.

From the article in the Missoulian...

"According to court records obtained by the Missoulian, the alleged offense occurred on Aug. 6 at 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of Park Street and Southwest Higgins Avenue."

None of this discussion makes any sense. You're all piddling around getting into irrelevant details of racism, facts of the case, whatever. Doesn't matter whether JW is red, white, black, etc. For whatever reasons, JW has had a reputation for violent off-field conduct in Missoula before the murder charges, which I also think are irrelevant. What is relevant is JW has now been charged, fairly or not, with an offense, after having a second chance at UM.

Point is, HE HASN'T CHANGED. He's had his second chance, and HE BLEW IT. I admire the UNLV AD who let go a LB coach who got into trouble, even though he was later acquitted. College football doesn't need this stuff. College football is not pro football (duh!). It may well be time for the pro's to develop farm clubs, like baseball. Basketball, too. College football and basketball are a farce, right now, with so many talented players needing expensive academic help to back them up, plus putting up with players having character issues, players who only want to be professional.

JW is a prime example. I'll bet if he had his druthers, he'd druther play in a pro farm club than attend college. Let the pros deal with people like JW, because they do it already. Come to think of it, pro teams pass along problem players like the Catholic Church passes along problem priests. Colleges can't be that way. It's not their mission. No college can any longer put up with problem players, or coaches for that matter. Do like the UNLV AD did: Get rid of them, ASAP. College teams will still attract their fans, and you all know the reasons. Witness college basketball players leaving teams for the pros. Interest in the Final Four, etc., has not diminished.

Puts a whole new meaning to "Lockdown" corner. Wilson will be cleared to play for the season one way or the other.

Don't you have an "oil spill' to tend to?

The Kaimin had an actual decent article (a true shocker) about him trying to get his life back on track last year...he really came off as a good and genuine kid in it.

I wish him the best and hope he can continue his pre-charge play...but after a three year layoff I'm not holding my breath.

Sounds like the Griz are going to have a killer secondary as long as they don't bite on the kn.. pump fake.
