Please post a score and date of the last time UNC beat Sac State. Do that and then maybe, just maybe you might have something here. :coffee:
We haven't been in the conference for that long. We will pass you over in football just like we've already done with basketball.

Good point - before this year, UNC hadn't beaten too many people in Big Sky basketball, either.

Apples and oranges BSB. BTW, it’s nice to see so many UNC fans come out of the woodwork AFTER UNC puts together a decent record on the hardwood. We’ll see how long that lasts.

Actually for big games, the stadium adds endzone seating in the southern endzone to match the northern endzone. Which brings the capacity up to 12k. Sometimes they bringout a few rows in the south endzone, but AGAIN, for big games they bring out the full south endzone seating and this brings capacity up to 12k and Sept 18th they will probably bring out additional seating between the endzones and sidelines like they did at the Sam Houston State game.

"With more than 2,000 temporary bleachers added, record crowds of 11,583 in 2006 and 10,754 in 2004 ..." - http://goeags.com/facilities/ewas-woodward.html

I predict ............. 14k Guaranteed sellout. :coffee:

Yes, "temporary" bleachers...and the all time record was 11,583 against Montana...my point wasn't to knock EWU....just pointing out that wikipedia can be, and in this case was, factually incorrect

UNC has been ahead of Sac St the past 3 years in basketball, not just last year. With football it takes longer to turn over a d2 roster to a d1aa roster.

If the Griz lose to Cal Poly then it doesn't bode well for EWU winning the next game. Take a look at the bounce back after the Griz lose a game. You better hope we get the win at CP and then get the surprise from your boys.

Maybe. To Montana State.

Of course we'd be back to our normal position the next year if it ever happened.

I do hope that we don't lose 2 straight. I have had my hope answered to that exact situation for nearly 20 years.

If the Griz lose to Cal Poly then it doesn't bode well for Ploofy and the regime change over in Montana. You better hope he hits the ground running (well, passing :kisswink: ). Until he can coach wins consistently at the FCS level, I don't care how UM has traditionally fared following a W or L. Ploof is still a greenhorn HC and has yet to prove himself. :coffee:

I guess Im the first to give Weber a little love

Weber State I would love to say 9-2 8-) but I'll be a little more realistic and say 8-3 or 7-4

@ Boston College- L ( :ohno: Really?)

Northern Colorado- W (Weber Stays undefeated vs UNC)

@ Sacramento State- W (Tough game but the Wildcats will win)

UC Davis- W ( Sacramento State has beaten Davis 2 years in row, Weber has beaten Sacramento State 3 years in a row(including last years 49-10 beatdown) Why does everyone think Davis is that much better than Weber?)

Eastern Washington- W (Weber will take the series lead with a suprising blowout against the Eagles) 8-)

@ Idaho State- W ( I seriously cant remember the last time Weber lost to ISU, and that trend continues this year)

Portland State- W ( Each time these teams meet its always down to the wire, I expect this game to be the same)

Montana- W L (This is why I said 8-3 or 7-4, If Weber wins this game they finish 8-3 if not then 7-4, so im giving a W and a L) :|

@ Montana State- L ( I dont have a very good feeling about this game)

@ Northern Arizona- W (Can anybody say SHOOTOUT?)

@ Texas Tech- L ( :ohno: Really?)

Favorable conf Schedule and our defensive and offensive lines will be more experienced, and Higgins wont be a pick off machine  Weber picked up the #1 running back in the State of Utah and returns a good wide reciever core minus Toone (will be missed) Weber finishes either 7-1 or 6-2 in conference . And for the 3rd year in a row Weber makes the playoffs. :D

GO WILDCATS :notworthy: :notworthy:

I could see what you were saying I guess if it didn't cover all that with new, unproven and so forth. Fuck I hope we don't have Pflu start out like you guys newest coach has. Not one BSC Championship in his first 3 years. That's a fucking nightmare situation right there.

I believe that Sac will beat Weber, but unlike the idea of UNC winning, I do not laugh at this. Weber has been a thorn in Sac's side for 15 years.

He's coached 2 full seasons. This year will be his third. Don't worry, it's coming buddy. (That's what she said).

2008: 6-5
2009: 8-3
2010: 10-1?

Don't forget he took CWU to the quarterfinals in his first and only year as HC over there. :coffee:

Definitely could happen. I'm just saying that you make statements when not only do the new Griz coach coming in not support it but even your own new coach doesn't support the statement. Making the playoffs in his second year and keeping the team pointed in the right direction and all. Since all we really KNOW at this point is what has actually happened historically that's what I'm thinking ought to be used.

So I'll say it again...if you are gonna take us down then you better hope and fucking pray that we beat CP. It don't bode well for opponents after we lose one.

Ursus...What happens to the opponent, most of the time, after the Griz experience a loss???? I am wondering.

Humiliation.

Luckily for us we play EWU at their place this year so that gives us a decided advantage anyway.

A slight change is all that will it be this year. Normally the turf is green when we get there but it is always red when we leave. You guys just wanted to save on clean up costs.

The exact same reason that last year at this time it was all about Weber/Montana. The year before that was EWU/MT too.

It all depends on whichever team steps up and challenges the previous year. You should know that as you were a part of it last year.
