Mangan will be going either to the Minnesota Viking camp or the Oakland Raider camp while Pendland will be at Cleveland's camp and Richter at St. Louis. All three will leave on Thursday.
None of the three have signed a contract as yet but all are expected to be offered and sign by the time the weekend's over.
All three were contacted by the teams about free agent deals following the recent NFL draft.
The three were standouts during the past four seasons for the Cowboys, helping McNeese win three Southland Conference titles, make three NCAA post season appearances and win 33 games.
Mangan, a native of Brenham, TX, completed his Cowboy career as the fourth leading all-time tight end receiver in school history with 67 receptions. He also set the school tight end touchdown record on receptions with 12.
Pendland, from Newton, TX, led the nation in scoring last season with a 10.73 point per game average. He also led the Southland Conference in rushing and all-purpose running and set three school records while tying two others. The tailback completed his career with 4,306 all-purpose yards, 3,137 yards rushing, 37 touchdowns rushing and 13, 100 yard games rushing.
Richter, an offensive tackle out of Prairieville, started 24 straight games for the Cowboys and was the leader in the offensive line.
All three were first team all-Southland Conference picks and Pendland also earned all-America honors.
A year ago Cowboys Quinten Lawrence, Jeremy Haynes and Kyle Link signed with NFL teams."
