Excuse me, you guys are in sole posession of LAST. We at least have a CAA win. If we beat Northeastern, in what has to be the game of the week, this weekend... you might have to beat us to tie for last.

But you aren't going to beat Northeastern, or anyone else for that matter

Well, I didn't think we'd beat Rhody, but we did. NU can't be much tougher.

If you guys keep losing, the Dukes will be flat in the last game of a most disappointing season, what's one last game mean? I guess there is a light at the end of this tunnel after all. :|

Not in the Top 25. Maybe Top 30, but that's probably a stretch. Those that put us in the Top 30 or so probably haven't seen us play. We're not good. It's not just Thorpe, but a culmination of other things. We won't be favored in any of our road games left and we'll probably struggle with Maine at home (we're kicking Towson's ass Andy, you can beleed dat).

I may have a different opinion after W&M. If they can show that there's still some fight there, then we might be Top 30. I wouldn't put us in the Top 25 until we showed that we can string together at least two good showings.

We/JMU are down but still better than half the teams ranked in the top 25...Jesus, we damn near beat Maryland, we had #1 on the ropes with < 60 seconds and followed that game with #2. We get #10 next week...all three had an off week prior to JMU and we have a freshman QB.

Where would (insert your team) be right now? Enjoy it while you can, it won't last.

Purplehazed - we can only rate what we see, not potential. JMU has beaten two Big South teams. The top 6 or 7 Big Sky teams could do the same.

Are people honestly debating whether JMU deserves to be ranked? They're 2-4 & just got blown out & shut out on their own Homecoming. Their team is a mess & is headed south quick. How many losses do they need before 100% of the people put them out to pasture.

They'll be 2-6 in 2 weeks.

Not Ranked.

They will have plenty of opportunity to rejoin the rankings... @ UD, @ W&M, Maine, @ UMass...

Which may be fine for playoffs since they are from the CAA.... :coffee:

Such a good smack comment you had to post it twice

We had one, Mickey fucked around and now he's out for the season and we're stuck with Thorpe. Anyone watching these early games knows there wasn't a QB battle, Dudzik was clearly the better quarterback... alas, he is on the bench now.

Well, if it's any consolation, at least Thorpe has taken some snaps this season.

Imagine how much worse the QB shituation would be right now if Thorpe hadn't played in any of those early games... :o
