We had a JR S who has played pretty well in limited action, pushing for starting time opposite Retoriano, and a JR JC transfer who joined the team in the fall at the safety positions in the scrim. And the CB position was manned by a redshirt freshman & a true sophomore who was forced to play a few games last year due to injury, so we have very little experience there.
I'm happy we performed well in the passing game, as we have struggled pretty bad so far under Ash, but we were missing 3 starters in the secondary. We also have several new receivers who look to elevate the WR corp productivy from last year. But I'm more concerned about our secondary than I'm impressed with our passing production.
