How ironic. He couldn't beat Talley coaching for UD. Maybe he can coaching for SHSU..
Well, if by "couldn't beat Talley" you really mean "beat Talley four times" then you're absolutely correct.
Ok, 1-5 in the last 6 then. And that 1 time was a 2-9 VU squad..

Well, sure, frame it to the benefit of your argument.

How about I say, brash new FCS coach Keeler took three out of the first four from supposed wizard Talley when he came into FCS?

How about I say Keeler is 13-3 in FCS playoffs?

I guess the SHSU theme for the week will be "we're off to see the wizard"?

I'm watching a replay of the SHSU/JAX Sate game now. SHSU looks fast to the ball but not that much beef in the middle. QB looks pretty good, improved from the last time I saw him during the summer game against EWU. Nice win against an overrated Ohio Valley team.

Wonder how many Hen fans will come up to cheeer on KC?

Not many. Especially if it's cold. Not a very good environment for football at Nova; no offense intended. Sadly, UD football is becoming more and more Nova-like.

I think Villanova clearly looked liked the better team but I was very impressed by the grit Liberty showed. Darned fine effort. The darned near pulled it off.

On Sam Houston State: I think the Bearkats are going to have issues with a team that can both run and throw the ball and I think Villanova is in that category. But we'll see. I do think Keeler is a really good head coach.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

We do have better bathrooms, though, than what they have in Radnor. And UD's really stepped up the concessions in the past few years - nova's is kinda what you expect from a high school game.

Should be a good game. I don't see nova as a national title contender this year, but they're tough and will be a hard team to knock off at home. Keeler is an exceptional coach in the playoffs so SHSU will be ready. Only game I remember Keeler being blown out in in the playoffs was in the chipper in '07, but nova isn't anything like that Appy St team. Should be close all the way to the end. Toss up game.

There's only 8 teams left. I get what you mean though. Who are your top three teams if Nova isn't one of them?

If we eliminate the Cats, it seems to me it is NDSU, Ill State and UNH. All the rest seem to have an achilles heel of some sort. VU kicking game will probably be their downfall. EWU defense. Not sure any of the others are good enough.

You named 4 of the teams I would put ahead of nova, and maybe even Coastal as well. Let's face it, nova isn't a sure thing to get by SHSU at home, but they probably have the weakest of the opponents to face, either SHSU or Chatty. Doesn't matter if EWU can't play D, they can play offense plenty. nova's gritty, no doubt about it, but grit alone doesn't win.
