And don't think nova's performance was anything special:
23 points in ~8 minutes isn't special? Name one other team in the FCS this year that managed a comeback of that magnitude with that little time left. The only point you're making is that the Delaware defense is terrible. Villanova and Robertson took advantage of it.
Regardless, this is a stupid conversation to have in the UNH @ Maine thread. (Not the "Delaware defense sucks so bad it makes every one else look good" thread. Villanova beat Delaware this year, just like they do every year. Can we get back on topic now?
Well, without doing any research, UD came back in the last 11 minutes from a 22-point deficit to win this year against Towson. Can't find the play-by-play info on the nova game, but most likely they started their drives within a minute or two of each other. UD was at Towson, while nova was at a neutral site...and UD was facing Towson's defense, while nova was facing Weaver's surrender formation.
And no, the point I was making was that your QB made it painfully clear that our DC's choice to go prevent was the very thing that made it easier for nova to score. That wasn't about Kerr or our DL getting dominated, as yours was against UNH...that was about our DC having no clue about being a DC. The one time we blitzed, we threw you for a loss. That was so effective that Weaver decided to not call it again.
In the end, the Hens finished with one more victory than the pre-season CAA favorite kitties. nova's collapse
from top 10 to being out of the playoffs by Nov. 2nd, was almost as bad as our DC's surrender tactics. But, neither of those things were as bad as your administration's decision to schedule only 11 games in a 12 game season.

That was either arrogance, stupidity, or poor math skills...and probably a combination of all of those things.
But, you're right, we should move on to UNH-Maine.
