In fact, of the top 4 Big Sky teams, they only played exactly ONE (EWU), and lost.

EWU played 2 of the top 4 (didn't play NAU) and won both of those games. Pretty cut and dry.

You make a good point. CP lost to us by more, but they also had to play us in Cheney. They have an FBS win and a win over a ranked FCS team in NAU. MSU has neither.

Why should an 8-3 Sam Houston get seeded while GSU does not get seeded? Or also get seeded higher?

Sam is 7-1 in FCS, only FCS loss is to a top 10 team.

You're assuming that either SHSU takes out EWU or that someone else does the deed before they meet. That's not a given. In fact, as much as I've liked SHSU this year, I think I'll have to go league-homer on that one....

Last year with basically the same team, SHSU beat Montana St and Montana in back-to-back weeks in the playoffs. But there is a chance of EWU or SHSU making it to the Fargodome if one wins all their games and NDSU wins all their games prior.

I think NDSU is almost a lock to be #1.

#'s 2thru 4 will be some combination of ODU, EWU and Montana St, nothing would surprise me as far as order. I do think EWU will be ahead of Montana St, the head-to-head win will out weigh the FBS loss.

I think Central Arkansas at 9-2 is a more likely choice at #5 than any of the many 8-3 teams out there. The Southland may not have the reputation of the other power conferences, but they did have a finalist last year and Central Arkansas has won 6 straight and has an FBS loss. I think their resume is better than any of the 8-3 teams.

EWU has the far better resume. I'm not saying EWU should be the number 2, but MSU certainly should not be seeded higher than them.
