It's looking better than last year. UW transfer Bronson is fully healthy and impressing. He'll be our thumper.cats2506 wrote:running game looks poor again huhScreamin_Eagle174 wrote:All I know is EWU will most likely lead the BSC in passing.

So you have Brown, Bronson and Tally, didn't you have another decent RB last year that I'm not seeing on the roster?Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:It's looking better than last year. UW transfer Bronson is fully healthy and impressing. He'll be our thumper.cats2506 wrote:

Other than true or RS freshman, not really. We had to use a 3rd string TE at Center when Powers went down for a couple games.catbooster wrote:It'd be hard to be worsekalm wrote:

tally is a pretty good back and brown is a serviceable backup, don't know much about Bronson, your OL couldn't be any worse off than last year so I would agree that your running game should be better
but that's not saying a lot

Should I wait until next year to make a similar comment about MSU's OL?cats2506 wrote:What happened to him,Screamin_Eagle174 wrote: Quincey Forte.

Forte, Talley and Bronson are all battling it out for the #1 RB spot. All 3 + Mario should see their fair share of carries this year, unless one of them starts dominating. So far Bronson has in practice.

I will be shocked if Cal Poly doesn't end the season with the best record in Big Sky play this year....................

You should probably wait, it will save you some embarrassmentScreamin_Eagle174 wrote:Should I wait until next year to make a similar comment about MSU's OL?cats2506 wrote:

You mean like the embarrassment you could have saved yourself by not talking shit about the Griz all last season?cats2506 wrote:You should probably wait, it will save you some embarrassmentScreamin_Eagle174 wrote: Should I wait until next year to make a similar comment about MSU's OL?![]()

Catman...I hear ya and I expect the Big Sky to bring a new challenge to Cal Poly but have you taken a look at the schedule that Cal Poly has played over the past 10 or so years? The same 10 or so years that they have consistently been a top rushing offense in the country? It may not be a popular comment with our new conference mates but I'd argue that the overall schedule for Cal Poly will be easier in the Big Sky.... not tougher.
Its true that Cal Poly has been forced to play a DII opponent almost every year but it is also true that they have scheduled at least one and usually two FBS opponents per year, schools like Fresno State, Wisconsin, SDSU, NIU etc. In addition they have had unbelievable road trips out of conference (ODU, McNeese, South Alabama etc). In addition they have always played the better teams in the BSC who they could schedule.
Cal Poly may not lead the BSC in team rushing offense this year but if they don't it will not have much to do with their schedule. Their schedule in 2012 may be their biggest advantage.
