Ah yes Texas Tech a school who went undefeated until their final weeks of the regular season the year before, then the next season little ol' UND goes down there and stays with them. Sorry NDSU couldn't schedule big BCS schools but prefer the bottom feeders like Iowa State, Kansas, and Minnesota. Sorry we couldn't have beaten the Red Raiders but gave it a gallant effort. I know your moral victory over the Cylones did you guys proud.

We are 5-3 against FBS schools...probably should be 7-1. When your school wins ONE FBS game then get back to us....

JBB brought up about TT saying Muss claimed a moral victory in which he never said anything like that. He will use the phrase toe to toe (not against TT but others) but he has never said he believes in moral victories. Yes NDSU can beat the bottom feeders of the BSC and the MAC...don't worry UND will beat a FBS team sometime but whats the rush...South Dakota State hasn't done that either.

I thought the idaho game was a benchmark in Und football.

Apparently UND went toe to toe with Idaho? That was a classic series. First game in 2010 was a 45-0 shellacking predicted by myself. I was scorned by UND fans and NDSU fans for divining the future with that score but most of them are unknowing about football. (I probably should have said idiots so most of you would understand what I just said)

This season UND went toe to toe with Idaho again and actually showed some improvement in a 44-14 game. That was the game that highlighted Muss the Mess and his great coaching ability. After another year of recruiting and practicticing UND was able to improve by 2 TDs on offense and 1 point on defense.

Ps. Stop lying darell, the Muzz was bragging in fact I think he cried when he boasted it was the greatest moment in his life when he looked up a the scoreboard and saw the "sioux" were in striking distance. He swelled with pride I think he said! Not only that, UND fans are still bragging about the Tex Tech "win" and how about the "win" at NIU too? Dont forget last years big "win" at fresno either. All benchmarks in the UND transition.

With all the big "wins" and your bragging about the big play at Fresno I have to believe it was the greatest moment of the season for you and und football. Im still not sure if the play you are bragging about clinched the "win" at Fresno or was simply the "game changer" that set up the big emotional win?

In Fargo we are celebrating DJ McNortons 39 yd TD catch to clinch the National Championsip in Football. The game changers were of course the blocked punt and the INT in the 4th.

I guess I never read this whole thread to get why you made your comment. CMU was not a "bottom feeder" that year, they won the MAC title. Yes, Minny is not Alabama but they are still 85 schollies and that is still 22 more than FCS.

Wyo beat us in OT and UM blocked a game winning FG....so 7-1 could be our record against FBS.

Yes, UND will probably win a FBS game sometime...esp if Faison keeps scheduling schools like Idaho or Fresno State....

UND led Idaho at Halftime the second half was a colapse by UND. We don't brag about winning against TT because it didn't happen, we brag because we only lost 38-13 with 10 of those points coming at the very end of the game. UND trailed only 28-13 with 11:51 left. UND fans were glad it wasn't 66-0. TT beat Rice the next week 55-10, they beat K-State 66-14, and they beat Oklahoma 41-13. So we should feel good about what we accomplished in Lubbock in front of 47,824 fans (the most UND has ever played in front of). TT did finsih 9-4 and won the Alamo Bowl. How did Minnesota, Wyoming, Iowa State finish after NDSU played them? Only CMU had a winning record. But its okay you guys enjoy your "wins" against all FBS teams. I am sure Alabama is waiting for you.

Sure, Iowa State, UM, and KU aren't world-beaters, but at least NDSU beat them (minus ISU, of course). No one I've talked to brags about hanging with Iowa State. Seems like bragging about hanging with a Big 12 team is something the folks up in Grand Forks might do. Which leads me to my next point.

You know, sometimes I just laugh at some of the stuff you post on here about NDSU....or on AGS.

WTF....excuses? Really. We had a bad year in 2009, plain and simple. We had a bad call go against us last year in the playoffs that ended our season. We had a very good year this year.

You said it yourself that you like to get under NDSU fan's skin. Well good for you pal.

What will 2012 bring for the Bison? Well for one it is the expectation of a NC run like this year. That is what is expected at NDSU. That is the difference between the 2 schools, as far as football is concerned. UND can have their "moral" victories....but you know what darell...we have consistently beaten our FBS opponents. Yes, UM-Kansas-CM-Ball State are not the Alabama's or Texas's but we still beat them.... Your trash talking about our FBS wins is getting pretty old, esp when your school has done squat against FBS teams.

Now I am looking forward to my 10th year of season tickets this year...it should be another great year.......and I would gladly pay double for my tickets.

UND is a hockey school...period. One of 52 or 53 schools that play D1 hockey.

We'll see how UND does next year in the BSC. Flying to every conference event.

If NDSU was not in the MVFC they would be mad as hell to have UND go to the BSC and not them. NDSU fans were spitting nails when UNC got accepted and not them. NDSU wanted badly to join the BSC before the MVFC (Gateway) was even an idea. Travel was NEVER, NEVER brought up among fans. They wanted to join an AQ conference and didn't care about travel. SDSU was the only reason you even got accepted into the MVFC so thank your Jacks fans. Because UND not beating a FBS team doesn't mean they haven't done sh*t against them. Yes it sucks in the box score to see a loss, but to stick with them, or view big plays is good enough. You don't think SDSU fans were proud of their team by losing to Nebraska 17-3. Hell I would be.

Yes, at the time, NDSU officials and fans wanted in the BSC. But after being denied and then accepted into the Summit and MV, it is very apparent that those two conferences are a better fit for NDSU. After getting accepted then fans realized that it is a better situation for travel. I never said NDSU didn't want into the BSC at the time we applied to get in. IMO, BSC presidents made a big blunder by not accepting NDSU/SDSU. They took No. Colorado instead.....real good choice... Yes, NDSU/SDSU were a "package" deal for the MV. Some schools just wanted SDSU but NDSU has been a pretty good FB addition to the MV, IMO.

Why did NDSU/SDSU choose the MVFC? Answer: AQ. Why did UND choose the BSC? Answer: AQ. UND had a choice: 1. BSC in all sports. or 2. GWC for all sports but Independent for football. You tell me...do you think UND fans care about travel? You might as well get rid of sports if you choose #2. Travel will take care of itself. UND can raise money if their travel budget puts the AD in the red. If UND can choose to travel all over the WCHA and trips out east, plus trips to Texas, and New Jersey for basketball since 2008, I think they can afford to travel to the western US for all sports especially since the west is very heavy with UND alumn.
