ODU just got commitments from three including Colin McElroy 6'1" Quarterback from Alpharetta Ga. Milton H.S. McElroy was also being recruited by Lehigh and Princeton.

Seeing how many of the JMU folks are already talking about Reynolds playing in the defensive backfield at JMU and not even playing QB, I think the more likely answer is the one Reynolds himself gave - he wanted to go away somewhere for college, not stay at home. Reynolds said the fact that JMU has had several recent quarterbacks whose athletic playing styles mirror his skills, such as Rodney Landers and Justin Thorpe, “played a big part” in his decision.

Doesn't sound like Reynolds is planning on playing DB to me.

I don't blame Reynolds for getting out of Delaware.. based on KC's record of lack of developement when it comes to high school QB recruits Reynolds was probably wise to avoid UD.

I think a lot of JMU fans are expecting Ian Fisher to be our QB of the future. The kid is 6'5 and 240 already and has a cannon and apparently can run. Was told he would redshirt next year then immediately compete as a r-fr with Jace Edwards in 2013 for Thorpe's replacement. Reynolds could move to rb/cb like Mickey has been known to do with many athletes

And ODU has 5 so far according to rivals. Overall has 4 2-star recruits. In all seriousness, I don't expect this class for ODU to be nearly as big as the last couple years....ODU only loses 8 seniors due to graduation if I remember correctly, and I believe the 2012 recruiting class is at 10 already. Obviously Wilder is planning on a few other players leaving the program as well thats due to other reasons. Along with 8 seniors leaving the ODU program after this season I believe Patrick Young left due to personal reasons as well. It's realistic to think a few others will leave as well due to other reasons.

Yeah BDK, I realize that rivals leaves out some commitments and its only updated like once every 2 months for FCS teams unlike FBS teams. ODU for example just got 4 commitments last week and they aren't listed yet and a 5th committed months ago by the name of Fellonte Misher and he's not listed yet.....

I edited my post- just looked at Nova @ JMU game notes- Nova only started 2 (of 22) seniors against JMU. I had heard on the radio (I live less than 15 miles from them) that they were starting 3.
