My favorite part of all this is how they think that eventually they'll catch up, due to the natural advantages of, well, I don't exactly know. But anyway, why hasn't this happened in basketball? Maybe they should play in the Ga Dome too.

I think they tend to think this because they are in as good a recruiting hotbed as ODU, if not better and they play in a NFL stadium. Again, for the 1000th time I think playing in a NFL stadium actually hurts them in recruiting. Yeah it's nice to play a couple games on a NFL turf but after a while it probably gets old because each game feels like you're playing in a mausoleum. Also while they are in a recruiting hotbed they also have to deal with powerhouses that are greater than those ODU has to compete with. GSU has to compete with Georgia (SEC), Georgia Tech (ACC), numerous other ACC and SEC schools I'm sure and Georgia Southern as well. Not to mention I think their fanbase has some effect as well. Also their coaching is just downright terrible and while ODU has established a winning tradition, GSU has established a losing tradition that runs through the life blood of that program.

They are in a good recruiting area, but it is a commuter school with an ugly fking campus. The real GSU is in the better recruiting area of South Georgia/Florida. They will never truly go head to head with us for recruits. And the trim factor is as lopsided as can be.
