Big Sky Playoff Teams To Get In? Part 2
I think Sac gets in with 7 wins even if they lose to EWU. They would have 7 wins with one being PAC 10. That worked for MSU in 2006 and that was with a field of just 16.

That actually doesn't matter, but the Griz schedule is good enough that they'll certainly get in with 7 DI wins this year.weberwildcat wrote:griz are in no matter what if they have 7 DI wins any give season with the expanded playoffs. they can get 20,000 to a playoff game.
An 8-3 power conference team (assuming they didn't play multiple non-DIs) not making the playoffs is quite a rarity.

agreed, The griz should have made it last year despite their record. they had way more right to be there than robert morris... and if they would have gotten in last year, NDSU would have lost in the first round at WGS and we wouldn't have to become dumber by reading lakes and JBB's posts.Mvemjsunpx wrote:That actually doesn't matter, but the Griz schedule is good enough that they'll certainly get in with 7 DI wins this year.weberwildcat wrote:griz are in no matter what if they have 7 DI wins any give season with the expanded playoffs. they can get 20,000 to a playoff game.

The Griz shouldn't have been in last year; they didn't have 7 DI wins (& UM didn't play an FBS last year, so the schedule was weaker). And the RMU comparison is irrelevant because they were an auto-bid—I doubt they would have received an at-large.CatMan wrote:

RMU was an autobid but they were horrible, even in down years Griz teams are always solid.Mvemjsunpx wrote:The Griz shouldn't have been in last year; they didn't have 7 DI wins (& UM didn't play an FBS last year, so the schedule was weaker). You may be right but I hope we run the table. Also depending on how things shake out, if we get to 7 wins we could very well be sent out east in the first round.Northcoast wrote:I think Sac gets in with 7 wins even if they lose to EWU.
