As well you should. Congrats on the win, it was a great game.

We have to take our lumps and pay our dues, like everybody else.

Ahhhh Bite Me.
I'm still ticked off about that game.
If any one of three plays goes our way, we win. And with each one of them, the odds were in our favor.
Play 1 - With a minute to go in the 3rd Quarter with the ball on the Towson 40, we throw a pass to a wide open receiver, who goy past the defender. The receiver stopped, turned around, and the pass hit him in the stomach while 2-3 yards into the end zone. He dropped the pass. That would have put us up 42-24 and the game would have likely been out of reach. I'm not saying that scoring on a 40 yard pass is a play where the odds are in your favor. I'm saying that more often than not, the pass is caught if it hits you in the stomach.
Play 2 - Onsides kick. Again, the odds are in the receiving teams favor.
Play 3 - 4th and friggin 29. For some reason we had 6 defenders at or near the line of scrimmage. WHY?????? :ohno:

Congratulations to Towson. Kudos to the team, Coach Ambrose and staff, and TU fans in attendance. It was a fantastic game to see live. As an ODU fan it was almost as tough a victory-into-defeat scenario as a certain CAA bball championship game we lost at the buzzer some years back.

It was heartbreaking in the moment, but as a fan it was also exhilarating to be in that atmosphere. I am very happy that ODU is part of CAA football. The outcome does nothing to dampen my pride or change my belief that ODU is ahead of where most thought they would be.

Again, congrats TU. :thumb:

You should have seen me ride my son and his teammates playing 9u baseball games yesterday. If a kid sneezed I was all over him. I kept yelling "4th and 29" from the dugout. The poor kids didn't know what to do.

Dude.....what the hell is the matter with people from the state of Delaware? Seriously. Did Dupont seriously poison the drinking supply? I've never met this many retarded people in my entire life. Seriously, I haven't met a single poster from UD that has been funny, interesting or intelligent yet. Every other fanbase has been just fine. Hell, we have a nice little rivalry going with JMU fans on Caazone. But good lord, UD fans make a family of inbred traveling carnival folk seem like Rhodes scholars.

Delusional and pathetic doesn't even BEGIN to cover it.

And sometimes sh*t happens. I give full credit to Towson for taking advantage. I even went on their board on the Caazone to congratulate them, they never gave up. Odu certainly outplayed them, but the final score is the final score and they are 6-1 and we are not. It's the way it goes.

ODU has had quite a bit of bad luck this year lol. Between that epic collapse against Towson and the last second loss to Butler in the NCAA tourney, we've had more than our share of bad breaks.

Funny how he gets it from fans of many schools, but only focuses on the Delaware posts. Clear case of denial on his part. I don't see anyone on here that supports him, fans of his own school try and distance themselves from him, fans from many schools have a problem with him, and all he does is blame Delaware.

Something tells me that he applied to UD and didn't get accepted. He's a BlueHen wannabe.

(Good call by the UD admissions department. :thumb: )

I have only eaten oysters when I'm completely shit faced. I think in the 10-15 range. I do like me some fried oysters, St. Michaels, po-boy sandwich, the day after a wedding, phenominal.
