Reading that egriz thread regarding what they (PSU) did to MSU's O-lineman makes me absolutely SICK. Honestly, how does a coach/player sleep at night knowing they've done that PURPOSELY to someone?cats2506 wrote:it may make it nicer for the medical staffSilenoz wrote:On a related note, I'm very happy we have PSU at home this year

If it happens Saturday, should the WaGriz crowd go all lynch mob on the Viks?
Re: Montana @ Idaho St.
I dont know that they did anything to an OL, Dennehy went down but that play could happen at any time, he just got rolled up on and later on returned to the game (Butte Tough
)
However on offense they employ a lot of cut blocks on almost every play, even out on the perimeter. they were called for chop blocks a couple of times. I saw one play where two OL took turns diving for Minters knees, one hit him and he went over and managed to escape then he got up and pursued and the other hit him low again. The chop on B Bignell looked bad but he managed to jump it. There are also a lot of late hits, holding and shoves in the back at the end of the play, they were called a lot but a lot went uncalled too. A less disciplined team could get into a brawl with these guys, I was pretty proud of my Cats for keeping their cool.
the most disappointing part is that after the game their coach says they need to play smarter, the players need to learn how the game is being called. I take that to mean that his philosophy is that this type of dirty play is OK if the refs are not calling it.

Well, PSU did win a game with 209 yards in penalties. Maybe they took that as a green light?cats2506 wrote:the most disappointing part is that after the game their coach says they need to play smarter, the players need to learn how the game is being called.
