He's not had a lot of success at UMass in 1AA and I really don't see him as an FBS head coach...

I won't say it's hot now, but another 2-9 season will leave Stump Mitchell's seat blazing in Baton Rouge.

There are probably quite a few that should be on the seat, but would take an act of God for them to actually be fired.

In the CAA I'd put Jack Cosgrove on my hot seat if I'm in charge at Maine. You could say it's tough sledding for him being way up in Maine, but given what UNH has done the last 7 seasons and the fact that Maine seemed to be on the verge of breaking into the next level back in 2001-02... back to back losing seasons, one trip to the playoffs in the last 8 years... another 5-6 season and...

I agree with the first part of your post. These coaches are coaching at FCS schools not Alabama, Texas, Florida, Notre Dame, and so on.

When you have proud and sometimes unrealstic fans, pressure will build no matter what the school is named. Baton Rouge is a pressure cooker to coach in whether it's at LSU or Southern.

Rocco is not on the hot seat.

I don't know about administratively, but when I venture over to FlamesFans once in a blue moon, a lot of the fans sure seem to be tired of Rocco. That's why I think it, but maybe it's just a case of the few shouting the loudest.

That should tell you more about FlameFans than it does about Rocco.

There are a few disgruntled fans over there but Id be hard pressed to think that he is on the "hot seat" even then. He is 2nd all time in wins coming into this year and led LU to 4 straight conference titles (2 outright and 2 shared). I think the soonest his seat gets even warm is 2012 (depending on how the team does post Mike Brown)

David Bennett (aka CDB round Flamefans) Im pretty sure has been the coach since CCU played their first game in 2003. He has been on the hot seat before, although winning the conference last year should put out the fire at least for now

MM is loved and on solid ground IMO but...by recently taking the heat off his AC after two 6-5 seasons by taking 2012 play calling responsibility on himself he has left himself exposed short of the 2012 playoffs and a good showing to boot...

If he comes out with an unbalanced offense i.e. runs the damn ball all the time and we don't make the playoffs
