JBB, what exactly did we dominate?? we had a good run, for a poor regular season but.......

More like the blizzard dominated us. Had TJ not gotten hurt and/or the snow storm didn't hit, we woulda rolled you fools by 21.lakesbison wrote:Ok NDSU dominated MON ST. in 2nd half and EWU from 2nd qtr to 2:15 left in game.
Now, NDSU is a top 10 team and I fully expect an even better team next year

NDSU sucks and you know it. They got lucky in a game that they shouldn't have against MSU. MSU was a better team and just had the unfortunate timing of playing NDSU after a hard fought and physical game against UM that took some life out of them. They would hand NDSU their asses 9 times out 10 like the good teams from the MVFC do. UNI, SDSU, Ill. St., and SIU carry the torch for the MVFC.lakesbison wrote:Ok NDSU dominated MON ST. in 2nd half and EWU from 2nd qtr to 2:15 left in game.

Total agreement here. JBB is a true muse for this board and I love him for it.SDHornet wrote:I read the title of this thread and thought, “What a waste of space this thread is going to be.” Then I fvcking lost it with all the gif clips. YA HEAR THAT SIU AND UNI! Just kidding. But seriously.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:NDSU sucks and you know it. They got lucky in a game that they shouldn't have against MSU. Ill. St. has been down lately but after the way they just kicked the living dogfuck out of NDSU this last year I can see them taking steps toward being a power in the conference again so I had to throw in as well.Thumper 76 wrote:YA HEAR THAT SIU AND UNI! They are definately going to be a force to be reaconed with next year, the whole conference is going to be up for the next few years I think.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:Ill. If it weren't for the MVFC rules they would be fucked royally cause cowbells are our thing to bring to the games here in Brookings, they struggle enough as it is on real grass, and a dirt tailgate area, add in those game changing cowbells and they would never win again at SDSUScreamin_Eagle174 wrote:********NOTE TO JBB********

Um sorry, but that is called the "knocked the stuffing out of them" phenomenon, and it is a registered trademark of NDSU. You should probably edit your post.Ursus A. Yes. That's the terminology I was looking for.DJH wrote:Um sorry, but that is called the "knocked the stuffing out of them" phenomenon, and it is a registered trademark of NDSU. And yet most don't see it that way. Fact is none of the teams in the Big Sky were as good as the BISON. It took 60 minutes of bad calls to make the point.
The results are in on the MSU game and The NDSU BISON won a clean contest, with a fine officiating crew, against the Champions of the Big Sky. The only team that got "The Stuffing" knocked out of them were the Grizzlies who finished with the record to prove it.
The playoff win against MSU seems to be the contest most in favor of folks so far. I still think the impressive win that won the respect of the entire FCS, not only the MVFC, is the top moment. I think The BISON are only the third FCS team to ever win in the Big 12. It was a huge win, good or bad or whatever your comfort, The Jayhawks had all the advantages of a top of line FCS program including a hot shot new coach.
If anybody got the the stuffing knocked out of them it was the Kansas Jayhawks by the BISON.
You see it was a big deal

Ron Burgundy was the balls

NDSU has been playoff eligible for 2 yrs and has already been to the final round. I certainly understand the reluctance of some of you, still clinging to the past, in accepting the BISON as a force to be reckoned with.Hell you guys were just now good enough to get a seat at the table...just barely. Hell when you have the kind of success a UNI, Ill. St., SIU, or WIU has let me know then I'll take ya you with at least a grain of salt. You ain't there yet little feller.
