Jb, you gotta read what you post, this is nonsensical even by your standards...... :dunce:
I just read it and after seeing much of his incoherence in the past few months I have just learned a little trick that helps you understand. Every time you come across something that is completely out of place or backwards just move that word or phrase to the next thought in his sentence or paragraph and it all starts to work out.

Sure it's like spell checking the random letters that a child moves around on a fridge but it seems to work out sometimes.

I worked with a guy once who couldn't type worth sh!t. Eventually I had to start holding my keyboard up to the screen when I got his e-mails so I could see what he was trying to type.

Im pretty happy with FCS football. Im not an advocate of a move to FBS as I was earlier but I certainly would get on board if the AD had a chance to move us into an FBS conference. The WAC is about the only place we could go. With the Montana Schools in it would look pretty good.

Yea I was sober. I had the initials mixed up. Corrected now. Sorry I caused you such confusion! 8-)

The WAC is the only place right now, but I truly doubt NDSU would take an invite if it were extended. Its not right geographically. The future may bring better opportunities if the FBS is in NDSUs football future. Our Wrestling team may blaze the way for the BISON conference affiliation if FBS football is to come about. Keep an eye on that if you want to divine the future of NDSU Football.

"The Conglomerate" is busy behind the scenes but the FCS is home right now and its exciting and satisfying for our fans and our market. Tho only ones uncomfortable with it are the fans of the programs being pushed aside, the Montanas, UNI and SIU come to mind.
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

You mean like PSU still is after 15 years?
In Oregon football isn't taken seriously unless it involves either the ducks or beavers. Along with the fact the Oregonian hardly mentions PSU unless nothing newsworthy comes out of Salem or Corvallis.

In their state Montana and Montana State are the only games in town and get all the attention

Other than that yes.

Good ol' cop out. EWU had used this one many, many times as well...until a couple of weeks ago anyway. Sorry they beat to you to disproving your theory by disproving their own. I'm sure they will be happy to live with the consequences however. :thumb:

Not sure what you mean here. Granted PSU has had some lean years the last four seasons, but it seems Walsh had the program pretty competitive when he left. Far from a doormat, that's for sure.

What Walsh built up, Glanville tore down.

Success does wonders, even at the FBS level. From November on to this month, college football in the state was Ducks and Ducks only. Even the Beavers could not get any print. Linfield gets about as much print as PSU even as a DIII because they win. Willamette is a fairly newcomer to DIII winning so they don't get much. Walsh's PSU teams got some ink because they won, certainly not because of his sales skills. Glanville got print because, well, because he is Glanville.

As for any recent WAC talk about PSU going, I think it would be a hard sell now, due to the recent lack of success in football (4 years, kem, not 15), and the fact that the men's basketball team is currently on probation. Then again, the WAC is desperate, but I have not heard anything recently.

Yep, it was a nice run in the spotlight especially after all the local college football competition had been eliminated. C'mon PSU, quit making excuses and just win a NC while the Beavs and Ducks play irrelevant bowl games or miss out all together. :coffee:

(actually, it will be very interesting to see how much momentum we have in this regard next season.)

Just to give the "PSU to the WAC" speculation a little more support...

My wife and I are in pretty good touch with the PDX rowing community and PSU is starting a Division I women's rowing program next year.

Could there be a reason they would want to add additional women's scholarships?? :fuel:

Could it be because they are not currently compliant?

I remember some discussion a while back that several schools were struggling with that due to the changing # of female population in schools or something like that so it could be they are just trying to make repairs and see it as a good way to prepare anyway just in case.

  I have to correct my earlier post. PSU is not starting a DI women's crew team. University of Portland is.
I'll blame my wife for the mis-infomormation  . We had dinner tonight with a couple of area rowing coaches tonight and they clarified that for me.

Sorry for posting bad info, but I guess that's what message board are for, right? :D :D
