Gil, if that was the only kink in the property, then it'd actually be a pretty valid indicator. Thankfully the transitive property of football has more kinks in it than Rex Ryan's swinger site profile, and is therefore meaningless.
Either team discrediting the other's SOS, offense, defense, etc is wrong and worthless at this point. You don't get to the title game with a 12-2 record unless you're a damn good football team, that has more than likely had a few breaks go their way, but has overall played some very good football and beat a good many talented teams.
