As the day dawned cold and clear the Upper Midwest was quiet. That "Old BISON Feeling" was back. The NDSU Football Conglomerate has sequestered itself in its' plush, prestigious lair deep under the stands at the Fabulous Fargo Dome. It was a big win, but thats all it was, not even a trophy. Today is the day of rest. The day the victory is savored. The day to unwind because its game week again for the Mighty BISON.
The Lights at Dacotah Field are on. They have been on since the final score rolled through every town and village in the Dakotas and Montana. They will burn throughout the day. At midnight they will be turned off. Its a day of quiet celebration but everyone here understands it isnt over yet. There are 3 games to play, the next is against the Eastern Warshington Eagles.
