Sac State @ NAU
Re: Sac State @ NAU
Wow. No doubt about it, Sac State started this game and brought NAU straight to the woodshed for a beating. Downright pathetic effort by NAU. Inspired and opportunistic effort by Sac State.
How a team plays that well in hostile Washington-Grizzly and then this, I just don't have an answer. Ugh.

Calling a 48-41 NAU win, you heard it here first.
Definitely not out of the realm of possibility though.

I guess this kinda flies in the face of all AZ's bellyaching for 4 Big Sky playoff teams tho.

43-28, Sac State holds on in the end.

I was just poking fun at the Big Sky in general. This one seems like a bit much to overcome.mtjack wrote:Can I have one of your happy pills, ToTheLeft?ToTheLeft wrote:Wow wow wow.

Hornets came back from being down 37-10 against MSU. No way I write-off NAU yet.ToTheLeft wrote:I was just poking fun at the Big Sky in general. This one seems like a bit much to overcome.mtjack wrote:

At this point the Big Sky is looking two team.ToTheLeft wrote:Hahah, sorry. It is the Big Sky tho.SDHornet wrote:![]()

Eastern Washington and Montana State
if NAU cant come back tonite their done. Weber has Montana St, NAU and Texas Tech... they cant lose twice though they likely will. Montana cant lose but still have Montana State.
Simarly in the So Con today they went from looking at upto 4 bids to really only having a shot at 2. Chatty can only lose twice and is at Auburn and Wofford still. Furman cant lose and has Georgia Southern... same case for GSU and they still have Appy.

And Liberty struggling with mighty PC kinda flies in the face of all the Libertards bellyaching about how good and worthy Liberty is.ToTheLeft wrote:Hahah, sorry. It is the Big Sky tho.SDHornet wrote:![]()

Re: Sac State @ NAU
Hey, I agree we're probably a few spots too high. But we didn't struggle at all in the second half. We dominated the game except for 2 turnovers that gave them a short field. We outgained them by 300 yards and held the ball almost 40 minutes.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:And Liberty struggling with mighty PC kinda flies in the face of all the Libertards bellyaching about how good and worthy Liberty is.ToTheLeft wrote:

37-0 2:19 left in the 3rd. The game is getting ugly. NAU players talking trash and committing a lot of personal foul calls.

Late season meltdown always happens after you lose your SuperGrizBowl game.native wrote:It must be the traditional Lumberjack late season meltdown.kalm wrote:Holy Crap. Sac looks incredible, and what happened to NAU's defense?![]()

Very uninspired play.

Seems the Jacks are having a post-Griz letdown, and the Griz already had a post-Jacks letdown.SeattleGriz wrote:Late season meltdown always happens after our lose your SuperGrizBowl game.native wrote:

Wow NAU, just wow…
Apparently when you play Montana, you end up with the plague.

All I can say is "Wow!"
I figured we'd win, but I didn't figure on anything like this.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
