Sac's never beat EWU in Sacramento.......but seeing as this game's in Cheney, that means nothing so it would seem. We seem to have a hard time beating them in Cheney for whatever reason. Then again, we also had a 7 game winning streak over MSU that was broken this year, and we hadn't beaten Montana at home since 2002, so maybe this is the year that all the streaks go out the window.SuperHornet wrote:S F State Gaters wrote:Sac State might win if the game were in Sacremento, but it'd be tough to win that one on the roadKinda looks to me like it's the other way around, Gater.weberwildcat wrote:2006 Sac 21, EWU 20 (Cheney)

The nail in Downing's coffin was 2 weeks ago in Sacramento.SuperHornet wrote:1. I hate to say it, but I think the Kitties are going to come out p!$$ed. This will be a blowout and will probably be the nail in the coffin for Downing.
2. NAU is due for their annual swoon. I can't see them beating the Griz.

For UNC’s fans sake I sure hope so. The close loss against EWU and a few wins down the stretch could change…hell who am I kidding.free7694 wrote:The nail in Downing's coffin was 2 weeks ago in Sacramento.SuperHornet wrote:1. How much longer has Downing have on his contract? And i agree, the fact that he is still around does bewilder me. The Bears may have improved in terms of talent but still cannot win games (except occasional win against the Bengals). Its time for this guy to go.

Sac State 24-35 EWU — Odd stat: all 4 of Sac's wins against EWU came in Cheney.
Portland St. 27-31 Weber — Weber's underrated running game bails out Higgins.
NAU 20-23 Montana — Herrick must now deal with one of the nation's best pass defenses.
NoCo 17-34 Montana St. — Can the Bobcats avoid a 2004-esque collapse?

Based on last weekend's 34-7 performance against Montana State, I am not sure this year that anyone should be counting on the traditional late season Lumberjack meltdown!SuperHornet wrote: ...2. NAU is due for their annual swoon. I can't see them beating the Griz.

I don't think NAU will collapse. They'll lose in Missoula, but they're strong favorites to win their last 4 and that'll be enough to get in the playoffs.native wrote:Based on last weekend's 34-7 performance against Montana State, I am not sure this year that anyone should be counting on the traditional late season Lumberjack meltdown!SuperHornet wrote: ...2. Last year the Jacks looked awesome against the Griz, then lost their last 4. The year before they had a great run going, then lost the last 4. After the Griz game this weekend, they will have 4 games left. Still could happen.native wrote:Based on last weekend's 34-7 performance against Montana State, I am not sure this year that anyone should be counting on the traditional late season Lumberjack meltdown!SuperHornet wrote: ...2. I also expect all the home teams to win this week.
