Which BSC teams will make it?

Which ones will miss out?
Looking at the remaining schedules, and assuming the favorites win, you could head into the the final weeks of the season with the Montana's, EWU, and NAU all very much playoff eligible. But you also have SAC and Weber with no bad losses and if they get on streaks can still make the playoffs.

The questions are which conference title/playoff contender does PSU pick off, which conference title/playoff contender shits their pants against ISU or UNC, and/or can the Hornets or the Wildcats run the table?

I say three teams in are a very good possibility.

It'll be 3, without a doubt - of the following

Good shot (UM, MSU, EWU)
Outside chance (NAU, Sac)

Portland State and Weber both scheduled themselves out the play-offs this year, IMO. Weber would have to win out, and beat UM, MSU *AND* Texas Tech....

PSU can theoretically still get in, although they have to win every game to get to 7 D-1 wins and have to beat NAU, Sac, and EWU, amongst others.

Bottom line it's still way to early to even look at this. One or more of the top 3 teams are going to lose along the way, and things will be shaken up along the way. Look for NAU, Sac, and PSU to win more games, even against the upper tier. This is a crazy season in the BSC this year.

Weber doesn't have to beat Texas Tech. They would probably get in at 7-4 (they did last year with a virtually identical schedule). They obviously have to sweep the conference games. They're not playing well enough to win out, though.

Sac & PSU do have to win out to have a chance.

The way everything looks this year, it seems to be all or nothing. If a Big Sky team gets 7 DI wins they will most likely be in, but getting to 7 is the hard part.

Thanks for the explanations. I agree Weber doesn't have to beat Texas Tech to go to the playoffs.

playoffs??? Playoffs???

Weber was LUCKY to beat arguably the WORST TEAM IN ALL OF FOOTBALL and we are talking about Weber and the Playoffs, We will be lucky to win at home to Port St and Montana, with the way we are playing, we WONT win at MSU or NAU
