A Brazilian guy with Jackson State/Payton jersey in the Leblon section of Rio de Janerio. Would not have given it much thought if it was a Bears jersey. But I struck up a conversation with the guy and he went nuts when he learned I had seen the famous " Walter Payton training hill".

So I'm cruising north on US 321 (between Lincolnton and Hickory) last Friday, headed back to Boone.
Traffic was light but ran upon a gaggle of cars running 10mph or so below the posted speed limit. A dozen cars are trying to 'negotiate' their way through this obstacle, passing in the right lane - 'weaving' through the other cars. The holdup?
The bonehead in the left lane with the UMass sticker - LOL

I don't know if I posted this before, but back in 2005 when I was in Amman, Jordan for a couple days on a fact-finding trip from Baghdad, I saw a Honda Civic with an Elon sticker on it.
I also know for a fact there is a car with a The Citadel sticker on it, because the owner is my classmate and a LTC in the Jordanian Air Force.

Not really FCS anymore, but the two former Hofstra players we got are always sporting their Hofstra football shirts, backpacks, winter hats, and sweat pants. Not once have I seen them with ODU gear on, but I still think it's pretty awesome (and somewhat depressing) that they still love Hofstra that much...even after the sudden demise. I guess the program means a lot to them.
Hung out with a bunch of soccer girls from App St and a bball player from there as well in Panama City over spring break, and saw a large range of other FCS schools. As well as the one armed dude who smoked weed w the guys that I went with, I don't remember where he was from though

Not a big stretch, but I met my new neighbors last Saturday. They're renting the house on the opposite corner from us. Four guys, all recent grads out playing cornhole in the yard drinking beer - 3 Furmies and an Elonian under the same roof.

We would have had a more cordial meeting in a place that served alcohol, but I had a minivan full of family headed home from Disney. My little guys needed McNuggets and a playground.
Just got back from Vegas and watching the Monster Jam World Finals, and I saw a guy with a Montana Grizzlies Football shirt on, and I chated with him a while nice guy go figure
also saw a lady with a Villanova National Champions shirt on
and another guy with a North Dakota State sweater on (yeah it was cold a couple of days)
