Agree....Dudek (sp?) did as well as Landers in that game, but Montana was the better team...

Yea, at the time, it was easy to say that we would have a better chance to come back with Landers in the game, but he couldn't have done anything more than Dudzik did.

The Delaware program isn't crushed by any means but it hasn't been the same since losing badly to Appalachian 49-21 in the 2007 NC. Riding Flacco and Cuff it was a great shot for the program to return to top of the FCS but once they were stopped on that goal line stand in the 1st quarter and App goes up 14-0 on their next possession and the flood gates opened. I don't think Delaware has fully recovered from that loss: 4-8 in 2008 making it the losingest season in their 117 year history, but did end up a respectful campaign this year at 6-5.
