Agree completely with UHNWildCats--home field should be earned. Entire field would be seeded, though, which would only accentuate ranking issues, for example NOVA better than UR all season, but couldn't get the nod till after their head to head.

Has to do with the better teams should be hosting games, not the richer teams.

I agree that the fairest way to conduct the playoffs would be to seed everyone 1 through 16 and let the better seed host. I don't see that happening though.
