 there are 3 or 4 teams from the BSC alone that would have.
Not this year. Which teams were you referring to?

Lehigh?
Fordham?
Gardner Webb?
Brown?
Duquesne?
Central Conn St?

Griz- none of those teams are in the CAA. You guys should just drop the replies if this the kind of responses you come up with. Just let us gloat on the superiority of the CAA. Your refutations are futile.

You don't even believe that.

Why wouldn't I?

For starters, Monatana State and Poly didn't make the tourney from a weaker conference. Montana, SUU and N. Az got smacked in the mouth in the first round and even Montana lost the first game they played.

Not much of a resume to make your argument.

GPI Expanded, 5 MVFC teams rated higher than UNH. UNH deservied to be in the playoff, it's not the CAA teams that bumped YSU. YSU had the W-L record, but the 3 straight loses hurt. UNI and SIU had too many losses.

Having NDSU in any conference is going to skew that conference heavily, as NDSU is playing on a different level than everyone else the past three years. The schedule that NDSU plays is going to be easier than what a CAA team plays, because NDSU doesn't have to play NDSU.

Top to bottom, there is no better league than the CAA, and save for a couple of years, that's the way it's been for over a decade now. That's why the CAA has been in the finals 8 of the last 11 seasons and has a chance for a fifth different champion this season (and that's nit even counting UMass's championship).

Meh...it was a good game between two solid teams from elite conferences. Unlike you, I wouldn't have been surprised either way. If you need more help with this see Sagarin's conference rankings above and tell me how far the Big South, Southern, and OVC teams made it this year.

EWU 2 CAA 1.
