You're not really defending UD, you're pointing out the unwritten rules of smack. If a team beats you, you don't get to smack until next year.

You got your lucky win over us. Just be happy they called that phantom hold on a 56 yard touchdown run and the game was played at your stadium not ours.

I agree on the "lucky" part though, UD could have had JMU or UNH on the schedule instead of ODU.
