Does McDonald's pass money on to Mom and Pop's Burger Palace? Does anyone feel dirty when shopping at the regional supermarket versus some small, one-of-a-kind family grocery store?
Grambling's business is poorly managed, management is full of clowns and/or thieves, and the business should be allowed to fail. any funding from the state should be withdrawn and better used in the other area school systems.
Use Grambling's land as a public park.
As much as it hurts me to say, I have to agree with Chuck. This falls 100% in the lap of Grambling State University. The Alumni needs to step it up or close it down.

Perhaps, and probably because I live in the north, I have never seen, in my well-traveled career at multiple companies, someone from a SWAC school, let alone Grambling. Obviously, if they graduate, they stay in the South, but what do they do? What is Grambling known for in academics? Just axin'.

The main thing Grambling is teaching is how to mismanage an institution, how to cover it up, how to play victim and expect someone else to pay for their losses, how to pocket money on the side, and how to avoid responsibility.Cap'n Cat wrote:What is Grambling known for in academics? All in all, Grambling students and administrators would make great hard-core Conk and Donk politicians...or typical federal or state workers.

Some, by golly, will end up enslaving and portraying themselves as victims...perceiving insults in everyone else's comments and completely misunderstanding the concept of self-respect.dal4018 wrote:Oh so nothing beyond that???Cluck U wrote:

Maybe you could volunteer as their misguidance counselor...I hear the pay and benefits are commensurate with their failure rate.

Re: Mutiny at Grambling
I've bit my tongue on this for awhile, and while I respect the players at Grambling for taking a stand, my problem with the situation is if the have such a problem with the state of there locker room why didn't they do something about it. A little soap and water and some time with the entire team cleaning could have fixed a lot of that. It is your locker room

Yes the alums of this school should have stepped up long before it got to this point.Everson Walls said this was a problem long before these young men protested publicly about the poor facilities.mrklean wrote:Cluck U wrote:

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
