Griz get new uni's

Seriously though, think about it for a second. Florida, Miami, Florida State, TCU, Ohio State, etc... all had the SAME template design. App State, by far the most recognizable FCS team to those that don't follow FCS football didn't get it's own design.


Why the hell would Montana get it's own design?

Your right about the template. Our pants and "STRIPES" will be different but no one will have a jersey like ours. And the players haven't even seen the jersey's and I will tell you my sources bit more reliable than yours. Though your totaly right about the template.

I didn't have much of anything to do today, so I decided to call in a "favor".

Because I'm kind of a "Big Deal" around these parts, I got to spend the large part of my morning in the downstairs area of the Adams Center. For those that don't know, that's where most all of the Griz football equipment is stored/distributed for/to the team.

The only thing I really wanted to see were the new Griz road uniforms, and I saw 'em!

IMO, those that don't like the new Griz home uniforms, you might be in for another disappointment.

Personally, I REALLY liked what I saw, and "Hack" is awesome! Thanks, pal!!

No need. They will remain bullet proof so why not start deflecting bullets at your earliest possible convenience. In fact these have embedded computer chips that were given to us by Microsoft that will learn how to reverse the bullets and fire them back at the opposition while missing our guys so the sooner these suits start learning the better.

They cost about a million each but they were given to us because...well...we are that damn special.

I do look pretty good in #34's away jersey.

I had a very fun, informative, eye opening morning with my tour of the Griz athletic department! The only downer for me was that all the folks I talked to, kept telling me, "the next time you see Ursus, tell him thank you from Nike & the University of Montana for all his help on the design of the new uniforms!"

Other than hearing that, I had a terrific morning, and the away Griz uni's are sweet!

Okay, so you think your red turf is badass and I think the new Griz unis are badass. To each their own, I guess.

I saw the replica of the road jersey at Universal Athletic in Billings last weekend. Exact same template as the home jersey except everything is white (even that admittedly weird accent stitching on the shoulders) with maroon numbers and letters, which are outlined in black. Word is the pants are all white too except for the maroon bear paw on the hip. Reminds me of the Read-era road uniforms, except even whiter.
