NAU - no number assigned

Tim Davis

Title: Offensive Line Coach
Phone: 928-523-1900
Email: Timothy.Davis@nau.edu

Bio

Tim Davis joined the Northern Arizona football staff in March of 2015 as the offensive line coach.

Davis has over 30 years of experience coaching including the NFL, Pac 12, SEC, and most recently SMU, has been named Northern Arizona’s offensive line coach announced by head coach Jerome Souers.

“It’s a sign of the growth of our program when you get top people wanting to come and work here at NAU, Souers said. “Coach Davis brings energy to our team and our offensive line that I’m really excited about. Not only does he have years of experience at the top collegiate levels, but he also has coached in the NFL. It’s hard to find people with that kind of knowledge and I’m really looking forward to watching his development of our offensive line unit.

Prior to his one season at SMU, Davis was the offensive line coach at the University of Florida for two seasons. Davis has also made stops with Alabama, USC, Utah, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Idaho State. From 2005 to 2007, Davis served as the offensive line assistant for the Miami Dolphins.

“As good of a coach he is, he’s a better man, and that’s what we look for here at NAU,” said Souers. “I know everyone will welcome Coach Davis with open arms to the NAU Family and we look forward to his addition to the staff.”

Davis will take over an offensive line that helped produce 3,270 passing yards and 1,764 rushing yards. NAU averaged 273.8 passing yards per game to rank fifth in the Big Sky and 147.8 rushing yards per game for eighth.
