You know what really gets me? I've watched Sam Houston State play on TV four times this year now. Against Eastern Washington and LSU, Sam Houston's quarterback was wildly inaccurate when he tried to throw to receivers more than about 5 yards downfield. Like against Eastern Washington he had receivers running open all the time and couldn't hit them. Then all of a sudden against McNeese he was accurate throwing to receivers downfield. And that was a huge factor in that game. Maybe he's getting better as the season goes on and gets used to the offense? Is that it?

No. Sam Houston State plays Northwestern State and what happens? He's wildly inaccurate when he tries to go downfield.

WTF!!!????
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

That and 351 yards, plus a National FCS Freshman of the week award...disgraceful that we managed to lose this game.

Could be worse...you could have your QB break a record for throwing TD's in a Pac-12 stadium, and still lose the game. ;)

We could have put Morgan St away three missed FGs cost us the game plus their QB Robert Council's 122 yds rushing.
