SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
39-6 for the year. Perfection this week would be fine.
CP at NAU---Mustangs got their season going the right way last week against Portland State. Lumberjacks season took a slight turn at South Dakota...CP 31, NAU 21
EWU at UCD---The Eagles pull a Bobcat out of a hat last week at Montana State while the Aggies had an extra week to prepare for this game. A hard fought contest or a week off. As if it matters...EWU 45, UCD 28.
UND at MSU---North Dakota prepared for this game by getting by the CAA's Stony Brook team. The Bobcats let one get away last week against Eastern Washington. They better not let this slip...MSU 45, UND 10.
UNC at UM---In the battle of the Bears, the small Bears come in after falling at Northern Iowa. The big Grizzlies put up a fine struggle at North Dakota State. Should be no problem at home...UM 45, UNC 7.
SAC at ISU---The Bengals took an extra week to get ready for their home opener. The Hornets pretty much did the same, jumping on Menlo College for an easy win. Who's prepared more...SAC 38, ISU 35.
WSU at SUU---The Big Sky battle for Utah. The Wildcats fell to Stephen F Austin and the Thunderbirds fell to Fresno State. Come to think of it, neither team has won yet. Until now...SUU 35, WSU 21.

Our defense isn't holding anyone to 3 points, and Montana's O isn't scoring 45 points.
You think Suc State is the 3rd best team in the conference, so forgive me if I take your opinion with a grain of salt.
Feel free to. It's early in the season. I was off on Sac State, although ISU does seem significantly improved over last season.
Montana could be #2 or 3 in the conference, but again, based on what I've seen so far this season they look vulnerable. Giving up 350+ yards of offense to a horrible UNC team being led by their third string QB isn't overly impressive, IMO. Offense is kinda boring and predictable.

80 or so came on a well-designed draw play with a QB who had some pretty good speed.
Also, you're starting to sound like robsnotes. I really don't care how many yards we give up if we only allow 16 or 17 ppg.

I don't think that was a draw. Wasn't it just a dropback with a scramble? The Griz crashed on 3rd. & 1 & had no safeties deep to prevent the TD. I really doubt the Griz scouted Newsom since he was third-stringer in his first year with the team and they likely weren't aware he had that kind of speed.

You're probably right. Either way, I find it funny that holding a team to 13 points isn't good enough in some people's minds. Especially fans of teams that can't even shut out Western.

You were way off. I knew our defense was pretty bad, but I didn't think they would be this bad. Stud LB Sankey was ejected early in the game, although he isn't the one covering WRs and giving up massive amounts of yards to opposing QBs.

Unless you have NDSU's defense, your defense sucks.
