Furman dismisses two starters from football team
"Rrrooolll another one ... just like the otherrrr one ..."Coach Bruce Fowler announced Friday that defensive back Jairus Hollman and center Eric Thoni won't be returning to the team due to violations of team and university of policies...Hollman was one of the most dynamic playmakers on a stout Paladins defense. He earned second-team All-Southern Conference honors as a sophomore last season, displaying an excellent tackling ability in the open field as he racked up 112 stops, including 12 for loss.
Thoni, a rising junior, had started 21 games at center the past two seasons, including 11 last year. He was a member of the SoCon's All-Freshman team in 2012.
