CCU should drop for giving up 52 to Liberty. :ohno:

EWU looking strong, Griz looking vulnerable heading into a top 10 matchup in the Zoo. Should be a good one.

We need all three squads to play a complete game to win in Missoula. Do that, and I think we'll be just fine.

Tenn St beat UTM 29-15.Next week they tangle with Eastern Illinois. The Tigers have the no.5 pass defense in the country and the Panthers have the no.1 pass attack.

I can't believe what's happening to Northern Iowa. I think they could take one more loss and still be in the playoffs at 8-4 though. I would say I don't know who is left on their schedule aside from Youngstown State who's going to beat them but they just got beat at home by South Dakota.

I just don't get it. How come Northern Iowa held McNeese to 6 points when McNeese has scored 31 or more points against everybody else they played then gave up 38 to South Dakota when the most South Dakota had scored in any game this season before yesterday was 17 points?

Football is weird.

Edit: I just saw that it was an overtime game. But previously offensively impotent South Dakota still got 31 in regulation and ended up with 501 yards of offense. Again: I just don't get it.

I just don't get it. How come Northern Iowa shut McNeese completely down when McNeese has scored 31 or more points against everybody else then gave up 38 to South Dakota when the most South Dakota had scored in any game this season before yesterday was 17 points?

Football is weird.
From what I understand it is a lot of injuries. Also in that game they lost a starting DB for hit to the head. Big game next week as Northern Iowa plays at SD State. Winner keeps playoff hopes alive and the loser might be out of the running.

I think they're in at 8-4 with wins over Iowa State and McNeese. But if they do lose to SD State they'll have no further margin of error and they'll still have rejuvinated Youngstown State on the schedule.

Injuries are a big part of UNI's problem. Questionable play calling isn't helping.

As well as WIU who has beaten USD 24-10,was ahead of Minnesota till late in 3rd qtr,and outplayed YSU yesterday.Definitely no automatic W's in the MVFC.

Liberty is always a tough game for us. We won in 2OT at Liberty. We deserve to stay where are at.

No Big South team should ever be ranked in the top ten. :ohno:
