The CSU/CCU game is going to be incredible.CID1990 wrote:I think the BS overall is stronger this year. CSU will have a shot against CCU but I do think that at this point in time CCU > ASU or The Citadel.bucs90 wrote:
WHAT IF Coastal and CSU are both undefeated going into their game against each other
Buc,I'll be there. Pm me when it gets closer and if you'll be in attendance.

Will do man. I'll be there. It will be amazing, especially if the BSC is on the line again like 2005. If it is, forgive me if I yell "PUNT COASTAL PUNT"!!! Haha. JK. CCU will be favored, just off the history of the series, if both are unbeaten.Ibanez wrote:The CSU/CCU game is going to be incredible.CID1990 wrote:

But I'm thinking WAY too far ahead. GWU and Liberty will be hell for us. UNC Charlotte is loaded with 1-A level athletes, even if they are mostly freshmen and (r) freshmen. We are good, but not good enough to overlook anyone yet.

Kudos on the win! You guys have an excellent HC. We're trying to build our guy into one, and thank God only GSU will be running the TO in the Sun Belt!!!bucs90 wrote:WOW WOW WOW!!! GO BUCS!!! GO BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE!!!!
Next week, the Big South SHOULD have 4 teams in the top 25: Coastal, GWU and Liberty are in it now. CSU is now 5-0, including wins over The Citadel and Appalachian State, both on the road, and have played 4 out of 5 on the road!!!
Appalachian State Mountaineers:

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! WE'RE GONNA SHOUT IT! NOTHING'S HOTTER THAN A-S-U!

I was standing on the edge of the Cooper River bridge Saturday around 6PM contemplating the meaning of life when OL FU texted me and talked me off the edge.
I fully expect to witness another ASU beatdown in Charleston next weekend.

It will always be the Cooper River Bridge.

Nobody ever called the others the "Silas Pearman" or "Grace Memorial" bridge. Nobody says to cross the WW1 Memorial Bridge (that goes from the peninsula to West Ashley.)

I mean, how else can the social elite of Charleston honor a family that is so noble and honorable, a family we should all be grateful to have lived within 20 miles of..............nevermind the racism, corruption, cocaine use/selling, and pretentious reality show on cable TV they are starring in.......this family must be honored, and you will immediately bow down to their wealth and esteem
Haven't you learned yet? You are in Charleston. You must bow down and honor the social elite of this city, and be fortunate they allow you to exist in their city. Otherwise, they'll banish you to hell........also known as exits 199 through 216 off of I-26.

They have a town, a subdivision and a bridge named after them. It's time for my family to retake our former glory.bucs90 wrote:No way man. Its the Ravenel Bridge.Ibanez wrote: NO!![]()

Re: FINAL: CHARLESTON SOUTHERN 27 APPALACHIAN STATE 24!!!!!!
I am another Charleston Southern fan, also an alum who can attest to the fact that we had and still have admiration and respect for the App State program, tradition, and success. That is one reason why this win is so HUGE and means so much.
I was also at the game. The atmosphere was incredible. The environment was tough and loud. I wouldn't say hostile, but just loud and tough, like a great home environment should be.
Our team came prepared and focused. They executed. They played tough (physically and mentally). Physical and mental toughness has been missing in the CSU program.
I give credit to the ASU fans. Most were very classy in defeat. I walked around town and went to a local eating establishment after the game. There were App State fans everywhere and I was wearing my Charleston Southern windbreaker and hat. I got a few sideways stares from visibly upset fans, but they kept any negative remarks and trash talk to themselves. I did receive many handshakes and congratulatory remarks from App State fans. I heard, "Congratulations!" - "You guys played great" - "You deserved to win" - "You really whipped us today" - "Your team was very impressive" - "I hope you guys win out".
