NAU returns talent on both sides of the ball from an 8-3 team. I don't predict they'll win the Big Sky but I do predict a competitive season and the Jacks being in the hunt for potential playoff bids. Happy the Jacks have their first season in ages with no NAIA/Division II opponents as that helps chances re: playoffs. I'm bummed they're only playing 11 games but that could payoff if it helps avert the season end swoon. Appaholic - I noticed your link to Local Yokel Guide Service. An old college friend of mine @ NAU received his bachelors degree @ Appalachian State and spoke highly of Boone when he lived in Flag. I'll check out your company if I'm ever back in N. Carolina. The hiking is fantastic around Flagstaff/N. Arizona (the parks in S. Utah, Grand Canyon, San Francisco Peaks, Sedona). I now live a few hours south in the desert and make it back up north at every available occasion to get outdoors.
