And even then we would find a reason to lose against them.

The MEAC needs to fold but where would its members go?

We play to be king of the sandbox and get our asses whooped when we go out on the playground with the other kids. But hey at least we're king of the sandbox. BCU was our best team this season. And look where that has gotten them. I don't know how else to fix it other than for the teams to be dispersed among other regional FCS conferences....but who would want us?

If that is the product the MEAC fans want, then it won't change. Hate to bring womens basketball into this, but Montana womens basketball used to be a legit top 25 contender back in the early 90's, only to see the rest of the conferences pull away. Why? Because everyone is happy with Montana only recruiting Montana girls and the product they provide. There aren't any cries for them to get better.

I assume it is the same with the MEAC. They like the product they have and aren't willing to look elsewhere.
To the credit of the MEAC/SWAC both leagues recruit players from well outside their geographic regions.Norfolk St men's hoop squad has players from the Northeast Region.Kyle O'Quinn is a native New Yorker.
