UNI should keep up their winning records as long as he is around.
He isn't ever leaving voluntarily. He saw what happened to Terry Allen when he moved up.
I really don't think it's the TA thing. I think he's waiting for Ferentz to move on or retire or resign. Farley'd be a natural for the Hawks - instate guy, knows everyone, proven winning record...... Same with Iowa State.

Iowa and Iowa State will NEVER hire Mark Farley. ISU fans are still pissed about hiring Greg McDermott from UNI for basketball. When Cheezedick left Iowa State for Auburn Farley's name was mentioned and the ISU fans were going crazy because they didn't want another UNI guy like McDermott. Iowa will never hire him because there is no way their delusional fans would ever think somebody from UNI is good enough to coach the Chokeyes.

If the expand playoff field is large enough to include UNI this season they might get the MVFC at large, something their program should be aiming for, and maybe the Jr Bowl again at Montana?
I don't think they would be putting on airs if they included it on their schedule do you?
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Where will NDSU be?? Oh thats right watching on tv. Just because you won it all this season you are NOT a guarantee to repeat. Remember 3-8 in 09?

The BISON are national FCS football champions and they did it without a big moral victory at Fresno or a win against lower division schools.

Just non schollie schools right.
Why are a sioux lover and a sioux fan discussing NDSU on a UNI thread.
Because any thread about anything can be twisted to become about NDSU and UND.

You are right glib dopey. UNI is a legit at large, especially in the expanded field format we have now. That game might draw a tough first game and the winner usually goes out to Montana someplace for a lead in type playoff game before NDSU or ASU play. The Montana schools have been very careful to engineer a conference that they can win every year by being very selective on who they invite. Now with the lead in at large second or third round game becoming a tradition for them UNI has the potential to develop a much bigger presence out there. With a schedule like this years, considering the FBS losses wont hurt them, they have a great chance at the at large from the MVFC, wouldnt you say glib dopey?

* This team refused to play the Mighty Grizzlies of Montana en route to their "championship"
The Minnesota Metalsmiths will likely alter the ndsu trophy along these lines! Can't say with any REAL Degree of Certainty though...the Asterisk Committee has been Impressively tight-lipped about the precise wording of the Inscription Alteration!

You do know they have a past, right? Posted it here last year.
Yes, 3 times, the last being back in the 1991 playoffs, But I'm talking about the here and now, both teams are different than they were back then. And I wouldn't mind seeing Weber play another FCS team other than a former Great West team more often. The last time we played a team not of the formerly great west was back in 1992....when we played Mcneese the last time.

The losing streak to the Panthers FINALLY ENDS!
You do know, Zoney, I've been hearing that since 2001, right?
Most YSU fans in the past decade always thought that UNI would be victorious over YSU and they were correct--not only did YSU have some hard luck in some of the games but realistically UNI usually had the better team and were favored in the games. This year barring injuries and unforseen circumstances YSU should be favored.I do expect to finally win this year and also expect the Panthers to make and lose in the playoffs for the umpteenth time.

Same story, different year....
Past is OVER--SAVOR it! For the first time this century YSU WILL be favored over UNI--Sadly your days of the automatic "W" have ended. The only story that will be the same this year is the Panthers losing in the playoffs. With the resurgence of NDSU and YSU the MVFC now has respectability.
UNI returns 8 starters on offense including the entire OL. The QB we will play will have a better passing game than Rennie....
UNI's defense is always near the top of the league regardless how many we loose...and we return the entire secondary and the LB core is the deepest part of the team.

Hey Dicknose, when's the last time the Penguins made/won a playoff game? UNI has consistently been a playoff program throughout its entire 1AA history. YSU hasn't done shit since sweater-vest left, and even that is tainted by the blatant cheating and overall filthiness of the program.
