Why? What does Joe Flacco have to do with this?dal4018 wrote:Tell this to Joe Flaccobluehenbillk wrote:Honestly it's easier to list talented FBS QB transfers that don't look at Delaware.
There seems to be some mutual interest per a Chicago Tribune article today but I'd call Crist a long shot.
UD has also been connected with Maryland QB Danny O'Brien who I would prefer over Crist . I'd love to see Heaps from BYU too, but I haven't heard a peep on that yet other than he's not coming back to BYU.

Flacco was a D1 transfer from Pitt that is why I mentioned him now he's a starting QB in the NFLBlueHen86 wrote:Why? What does Joe Flacco have to do with this?dal4018 wrote: Tell this to Joe Flacco

Ah, perhaps I misread you. So you were piling on in agreement with Gannonfan that if you were an unhappy FBS quarterback looking to immediately play elsewhere, your first call would be to the FCS school that regularly puts FBS transfers onto NFL rosters upon graduation?dal4018 wrote:Flacco was a D1 transfer from Pitt that is why I mentioned him now he's a starting QB in the NFLBlueHen86 wrote:

Why does Flacco need to know about potential NCAA tranfer QBs? Seems to me you have things backwards. People should be telling potential transfer QB's about Joe Flacco, not the other way around.dal4018 wrote:Flacco was a D1 transfer from Pitt that is why I mentioned him now he's a starting QB in the NFLBlueHen86 wrote:

Nope, just wishing Delaware got less of the good ones and NDSU got a few more of them.93henfan wrote:Crist won't be coming to Delaware.
Also, you seem to have some issue with FBS transfers. Were they suddenly made illegal? If so, you better contact the NCAA immediately, because I watched the Montana-UNI game last Friday night and lost count of the number of FBS transfers I heard mentioned.

He wants to stay with an FBS school, but is considering dropping down to play right away. FWIW, a poster on EWU's forum has said that EWU is at the top of his FCS list.GrizFanStuckInUtah wrote:Jake Heaps is available.![]()

He's from Skyline H.S. Issaquah, WA and has several h.s. team mates at EWU. He'd be following a possible Payton Award winner and a long line of talented EWU QB's with the best receiving group in FCS. More likely than Delaware.Grizalltheway wrote:Yeah, and someone on eGriz said RGIII wants to come play at Montana next season.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:

Delaware has a strict anti-Mormon culture. The last Mormon that stepped foot on our campus got shanked. We will kill a bitch if he drinks milk at parties and has seven wives.

Why in the world would any man in their right mind have 7 wives? I mean, sure, the "honeymoon" with each one would be new, fun, and exciting (especially if you could get a tag-team thing going), but then they'd inevitably pop out a couple kids, gain 150 pounds, and work with the other wives to be 24/7 annoying in quadraphonic sound. And you can forget about going off fishing with your buds...93henfan wrote:Delaware has a strict anti-Mormon culture. The last Mormon that stepped foot on our campus got shanked. Re: Former Notre Dame QB to Delaware?
I'm not fully there. Depends on the prognosis for Sasek. If you just need a QB to get you through one year until Sasek has had a chance to fully heal, I could be down with Crist. In that case, his one year is more than enough. Plus, you don't scare off Hughes or the Newark kid who might both come and who could both compete with Sasek (and even Donnelly if he redshirts next year - would mean Burns would have to develop into a decent enough backup, which would be another competitor for the job). However, if Sasek is never going to be healthy enough to be counted on then yes, I would say no for Crist and go with a guy with more than one year of eligibility.93henfan wrote:Me too.bluehenbillk wrote:I'm on the record - I'm not a fan of Crist playing for UD next season.
